Pastor Jerry has been serving Covenant in a part time position since early in 2013. He primarily reaches out to members who are either hospitalized or in some way limited in their ability to attend church. He serves as an assistant to the Senior Pastor and is the staff person assigned to Covenant’s Senior Ministry. He and his wife Lynn moved to the Stoughton area in 2008 and have four married sons and seven grandchildren. He enjoys watching sports, woodworking, traveling and reading.

Minister of Faith Development
Mark has been serving at Covenant since 2004, when he was certified as a Youth Minister by the Youth and Family Institute at Wartburg Seminary. His primary areas of focus are Youth and Family ministry as well as Christian Education, but he is also engaged in the area of worship as one of the music leaders for Covenant’s Saturday evening service. Mark is currently working on a Master’s Degree in Diaconal Ministry through the Distributed Learning track at Wartburg Seminary. See Chris’ biography for Mark’s family news (they are similar!). In his free time, Mark enjoys building faith chests, and basically any home improvement projects – except painting. Mark also walks 15,000 steps per day, so you may not find him at his desk very often.

Church Office Manager
Chris grew up on a dairy farm in Evansville, WI. She married Mark Doll in 1989 and they have three sons, Matt, Christian and Noah. In 2003, after being a stay-at-home mom for 11 years Chris became the office manager at Covenant. Her voice is the voice you most often here when you call Covenant. Chris is also the administrative assistant for the Covenant Endowment Foundation. In her free time Chris enjoys reading, walking and baking.

RN, Parish Nurse
Parish Nurse Sue has served at Covenant in this role since 2012. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. She continues in post graduate studies at UW. She is particularly interested in spiritual development across the lifespan, currently studying spiritual direction leadership. Her role as healthcare advocate for members of our church family has been an ongoing call. Being able to walk beside another through times of crisis, be it physical, mental or spiritual, is a privilege … one she has embraced with love and dedication. Sue and her husband Bud have three grown young men. In her spare time Sue is a beekeeper, avid gardener and outdoors woman.

Carol has been the Membership Secretary since September 2007. She is a charter member of Covenant Lutheran Church. Usually Carol is here 3 afternoons a week to enter contributions and to keep member information current. She has five grown children and thirteen grandchildren to keep up with for fun. She enjoys being with all the people of Covenant.
