Our Daily Bread, which was started over 30 years ago, is a free monthly meal served on the last Sunday of the month to anyone in the community.
Pre-pandemic the meal was always served downtown at First Lutheran but is hosted by a different church each month. The meal is served at 4:30. There are generally about 60 people who attend this meal and for some it not only feeds their bodies but their souls as well, providing an opportunity for social interaction. Covenant typically hosts the meal twice a year. The hosting church provides all the food and beverages as well as the volunteers to serve the meal. Please consider volunteering when this ministry begins again!
